Our Farm Shop & Tea Room specialize in locally sourced food and drink from the Hadrians Wall corridor and our chef creates freshly prepared breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas together with hearty Sunday lunches each week.
We specialise in sourcing the very best locally produced food from the Hadrians Wall corridor, encompassing Cumbria, Northumberland and Border regions of Scotland. We pride ourselves in providing delicious home cooked food freshly prepared using. Our shop has a beautiful range of gifts and souvenirs to memorise your stay with us. We are proud to support local artisans from the region including photographers, landscape artists, textile and stained glass designers.
Our outdoor seating area provides the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the stunning Northumbrian countryside while perhaps enjoying a drink from our fully licensed Tea Room.
Bring the children to play on our brand new play area that has a wooden roman fort & disc swing for the older kids and a pirate ship for the younger children. They can meet our alpacas, Mamba and Knight as they keep a watchful eye over our hens in their purpose built paddock outside the tea room. We have recently acquired Lunar and Twilight our miniature lop eared rabbits and Itchy and Scratchy our Guinea pigs you can stroke and hold in our small animal pen outside the tea room.
For 2012 we are offering Alpaca experiences where you can spend time close up with Mamba & Knight, feed them from you hands and you can take them for a walk around our 11 Acre field.
Fancy trying somthing different? We can also offer childrens birthday parties where you can meet & walk the Alpacas and have a birthday lunch in our tea room.
Our Caravan, Camping & Wigwam site is open all year accept the first two weeks in January and our Tea Room is closed for the winter between 31st October to 1st March
