We felt that our vision for Herding Hill Farm would not be complete without the addition of some fabulous Wigwams, which we felt, having stayed in them ourselves, are the ultimate in a comfortable and luxurious all year round camping experience.

Welcome to Herding Hill Wigwams and your chance to experience a touch of luxury in the great outdoors at an unbeatable price! Stay in one of our stylish heated Wigwam cabins and some have Hot Tubs Too.
No more pitching a tent in the rain.
We have a smaller Wigwam called "Milecastle 42" located in a grass area at the front of our site that can be also used for organised groups camping and the Wigwam can be hired for leaders to sleep in and can be used for paperwork etc.
Camping just got a whole lot easier not to mention glamorous! Sleeping up to 6 adults Wigwams are the ultimate eco cabin, double-glazed, secure and lockable, cosy and warm whatever the time of year.
Staying in a Wigwam will make you feel as free as the Northumberland surroundings and set yourself up for the adventure of your life.
Wigwams are sturdy, wooden camping cabins. Comfortably equipped with foam mattresses (bring your own sleeping bag) and electricity for light, heating and electrical equipment. They have a fridge, heater, lights, dustpan/brush, bin and a kettle for your use.
From the 10th March 2012 we will have 3 ensuite Wigwams that sleep 6 and they have a 3ft wide bunk bed above a fixed double bed, single bed & a folding double sofa bed. The bathroom houses a flushing toilet and Wash Hand Basin but no shower. There is also a fridge, microwave and a washing up sink. The Amenity Block is located close to the Wigwams. These also have a 4/5 person Hot Tub available to hire for your enjoyment.
You don't have to bring crockery as we can hire you "Croc Boxes" that contains plates, bowls, glasses, knives and forks and even a corkscrew for £2.50 per night.
YOU WILL NEED ALL THE THINGS REQUIRED FOR CAMPING EXCEPT THE TENT
Fire Pits
You cannot cook inside the wigwam but we do offer a outside position for a BBQ or gas stove. A fire basket can be hired for £10. Eco Logs can be purchased from the shop at £4 a bag, we cannot allow you to bring your own wood.
PLEASE NOTE, FIRES MAY NOT BE PERMITTED IF THE WEATHER DICTATES AND ALL FIRES MUST BE EXTINGUISHED BY 23.00HRS ~ OUR SITE RULES STATE REDUCED NOISE AFTER 22.30HRS – NO NOISE AFTER 23.00HRS.
