Our wigwams
We felt that our vision for Herding Hill Farm would not be complete without the addition of some fabulous Wigwams, which, having stayed in them ourselves, are the ultimate in a comfortable and luxurious all year round camping experience. Wigwams are sturdy, wooden camping cabins. Comfortably equipped with foam mattresses (bring your own sleeping bag) and electricity for light, heating and electrical equipment. They have a fridge, microwave oven, heater, lights, dustpan/brush, bin and a kettle for your use. You just need to bring the things you usually need for camping but not the tent!
Glamping not camping!
No more pitching a tent in the rain! These glamping units are not to be confused with the "Pod". They are a totally different, high quality, accomodation with comfortable beds and bathroom with flushing toilet and hand wash basin.
Private hot tubs
Stay in one of our stylish heated Wigwam cabins and you can have some have hot-tub fun too with your own commercial size hot tub, right alongside your wigwam
Luxury equipped
Our wigwams are equipped with a fridge, microwave oven, heater, lights, dustpan/brush, bin, kettle and a washing up sink.

We have three Big Chief Wigwams that can sleep up to five people.
They are equipped with a fridge, kettle and heater.

We have three Running Water Wigwams that sleep five or six people. They have a 3ft wide bunk bed above a fixed double bed, a single bed, and a folding double sofa bed. The bathroom has a flushing toilet and hand wash basin. There is also a fridge, microwave and a washing up sink. The Amenity Block is located close to these Wigwams. These also have a 4 or 5 person Hot Tub available to hire for your enjoyment.

We have two Wee Brave Wigwams that can sleep up to 4 people and have space for a travel cot.

We have wonderful hot tubs for up to five people. Due to the high running costs of hot tubs, and in line with our enviromental policy, we charge £20 per night for their use, to avoid wasted energy. Note: Our Ensuite Wigwams have their own private 5 person Hot Tubs.

Arrival time for Wigwams is between 2pm and 8pm and the wigwam must be vacated by 11am on the day of your departure. Please remember to bring your own bedding and pillows.
The hot tubs must be booked for the whole duration of your stay. We may offer shorter use but an additional charge will apply. Hot tubs are alongside certain wigwams.
You don't have to bring crockery as we can hire you "Croc Boxes" that contain plates, bowls, glasses, knives and forks and even a corkscrew for £2.50 per night. Order your 'croc Box' when you make your booking.
You cannot cook inside the wigwam but we do offer an outside position for a BBQ or gas stove, and a fire basket can be hired for £10. Eco Logs can be purchased from the shop at £4.50 a bag. We cannot allow you to bring your own wood.
Fires may not be permitted if the weather dictates.
All fires must be extinguished by 23:00 hrs.
We insist upon reduced noise after 22:30 hrs.
No no noise is permitted after 23:00 hrs.
We have a free site-wide 6MB Wi-Fi system.
