Also known as glamping cabins, these luxury pods are the perfect step up from our Wigwam Cabins and are available for glamping all year round. Each 5 star glamping pod features fencing around your pod and private hot tub so you can enjoy privacy and relaxation from the comfort of your very own glamping pod near me. Whether you book a long weekend stay or a longer mid-week break, we guarantee you'll have a relaxing stay in one of our glamping pods in Northumberland. What's unique about our Castle Pods is that they are are adult only and sleep up to 2 people so are the perfect choice for couples looking to celebrate an occasion, a romantic getaway into the countryside or luxury glamping near me. These luxury glamping pods don't accept dogs but we still have our dog friendly Wigwam Cabins on-site where a number of these accept bookings with dogs.
Wondering why our glamping pods are called "Castle Pods"? Well, there's a bit of a story behind them! We were keen to link them to our wonderful 5 star Northumberland campsite location, so came up with the idea to name each of the Castle Pods after famous castles across Northumberland. This includes, Dunstanburgh, Alnwick, Bamburgh, Chillingham, Aydon, Langley, Thirlwall and Warkworth. You can find out more about the story here. Our Northumberland 5 star glamping pods are ideally located in a private spot which boasts the best views on the site. We're situated just 1 mile from the famous Hadrian's Wall so you're sure to enjoy wonderful scenery and backdrops wherever you are located at our Hadrian's Wall campsite near me. To make the most of the gorgeous Northumberland valley views, each of our Castle Pods are glass fronted so you can be greeted by wonderful scenery each morning.
Each of our glamping cabins are equipped with a an en-suite bathroom, complete with a shower so there's no need to make trips in the cold or the dark to the amenities block. We've extended the frontages on our glamping pods so even if the weather is not so kind, you can sit out and soak up the beautiful Haltwhistle scenery. You'll also be pleased to know, waking up in the mornings will be easier thanks to a Nespresso coffee machine as well as other luxuries such as a wood-burning stove, perfect for getting cosy on those cold evenings.
