Recycle your old reading material at our Book Exchange and make a donation to charity
Do you like reading and want to share your favourites with other camping guests when taking a camping trip in Northumberland? If so, a Book Exchange might be for you?
Is your house full of books that you have read and are not likely to re-visit but would like to donate them to a worthy cause? If so, have you considered a Book Exchange?
Do you want to share travel books for places you have visited especially around Hadrian’s Wall or in Northumberland?
Do you never get time to read and are looking forward to using your relaxing camping Northumberland or glamping short break on Hadrian’s Wall to catch up on a good classic or romantic novel?
If so, then why not use your camping trip to Hadrian’s Wall to swap some of your books that you no longer need? Herding Hill Farm have set up a Book Exchange for guests in our indoor campers kitchen located in our 5-star amenities block. Bring along your used books and swap them for another one. You can borrow from our Book Exchange to read whilst camping or glamping with us on site or take it away for future enjoyment. You don’t need to even have a book to exchange to borrow another. Donations are requested and all money raised from our Book Exchange goes to our chosen charity, which is the Northumberland Air Ambulance or North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team. If you finish a book on site, then please leave it in your glamping pod or with Reception so we can place it into our Book Exchange and another guest can benefit from future enjoyment.
So why not get out your comfortable camping chair, make a brew or pour yourself a glass of wine, wrap up warm, sit back and enjoy a good read from our Book Exchange in the great Northumberland countryside. If it’s a bit chilly why not hire a fire pit from Reception and listen to the sound of a crackling fire whilst you read.
