Capture beautiful sunsets along Hadrian's Wall all year round. We are in an advantageous position, just 1 mile from Hadrian's Wall itself meaning you can capture some stunning shots directly on site. Even if it isn't a completely clear day, you can achieve some great photos as clouds add drama and dimension to a sunset shot.
For a slightly different backdrop, discover the cosmopolitan city of Newcastle with stunning lights and water reflections. You can be in the centre of Newcastle in less than one hour by car or if you prefer public transport, travel via bus or train from Haltwhistle.
Explore breath-taking castles on dramatic backdrops. We'd recommend visiting Northumberland castles and coastlines when the sun is setting to capture them in all their glory.
Explore the majestic 9m high waterfall and enjoy not only the wonderful backdrop but the relaxing sounds of water falling. Bring along your camera and get snapping! Hareshaw Linn waterfall is located outside the village of Bellingham and is a 40-minute drive from Herding Hill Farm.
