Our adults only glamping pods, called “Castle Pods” are a step-up in luxury from our existing Wigwam cabins and are perfect for romantic hot tub breaks Northumberland all year round. Named after famous Northumberland castles, all easily visited in a day trip from Herding Hill Farm, these stylish luxury glamping pods with hot tub are beautifully located in a private spot to allow you to soak up the best Northumberland views on the site. Our Castle Pods are located in a quiet spot at the bottom of our 5-star campsite and are exclusively for adults.

• One well behaved dog allowed in our Langley Castle and Dunstanburgh Castle Pods for a small cleaning charge of £25 per stay

Designed with relaxation in mind, these luxury stargazing pods have everything you need for a comfortable and stylish stay in the Northumberland countryside. They are the perfect for adults only glamping with hot tub.

• Sleeping 2 adults on a fitted double bed with luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen
• En-suite bathroom, complete with shower, soft towels and complimentary, luxury toiletries. No need to make a trip to the toilet in the dark or use the guest amenities, even if they are 5-star! 
• Sauna available for hire for private use in the 5-star amenity block

• Fully fitted kitchenette with sink, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, and induction hob, will allow you to feel at home and rustle up some delicious meals
• Cutlery, crockery, glasses and pans all provided
• In the living area, a dining table and chairs and comfortable corner sofa will help you while away the hours
• Smart TV and a small wood-burning stove (coffee logs provided with more available to buy in Reception)

All you need to bring is food and drink, clothes, a swimming costume for the hot tub, reading material and some board games for some old-fashioned fun! Please note only our Dunstanburgh and Langley Castle Pods are dog friendly.

The Northumberland Castle Pods are suitable for 2 adults and regrettably we don’t allow children or dogs (except in our Langley or Dunstanburgh pods where we allow one well behaved dog, please select the pet friendly option when booking). 

If you are travelling with children or a pet why not check out our Running Water Wigwam cabins with hot tubs which are family and dog friendly and situated close to our 5-star amenity block. Our Running Water cabins are named after famous Hadrian’s Wall landmarks and are great value glamping pods North East.

• Private parking for one car available; short walk from the car park to the Northumberland Castle Pods. There is no parking immediately adjacent to the pods even for unloading.
