If it’s wet and cold outside there’s nothing better than gathering round a warm, toasty open grill and cooking some tasty food. And as we all know what British weather can be like, there’s no need to chance it with an outdoor BBQ if you pre-book our barbecue hut in Northumberland.

hut is available to hire all year round just like our camping & glamping
site so you can enjoy valuable time with friends and family whatever time of
year it is. Plus, it accommodates up to 20 guests so there’s plenty of room to
cosy up around the open fire with grill. There is plenty of outdoor seating to - our barbecue hut has its own private outdoor decking with spectacular valley views. Whether you’re celebrating a special
birthday or simply celebrating being reunited – we just know every friend or family member, young or old, will love the
BBQ hire. We just ask that you respect any nearby guests when gathering together, as well as our quiet site policy.
Many of our guests love to gather round the BBQ grill and then head out to an open fire to enjoy stargazing, viewing the amazing Northumberland dark skies. We are proud to be one of the best stargazing spots in the UK and our 5 star campsite is a dark sky friendly park so you can be sure to see some stunning stars in the sky. September and October are typically the best viewing times of the year for stargazing. We now have a large outdoor area to the side of our BBQ hut, perfect for Northumberland star gazing with family and friends.
Although we provide the cosy space of the BBQ hut, an open fire with grill, charcoal and cooking utensils, please remember to bring along your own food and drink, plates, bowls, cutlery and cups/glasses. We even lay the barbecue hut out for you. We have meat BBQ packs for sale at Reception from our local Haltwhistle butchers if you want to grill some fresh Northumberland produce.
